Hambling has been an established, successful contractor in the region for the past 30 years. Founder of the firm, Craig Hambling, has overseen considerable growth from humble beginnings, and is still driving the company forward as Managing Director. Craig has built a successful team of Quantity Surveyors, Contract Managers, Estimators and support staff, who provide effective and efficient management to our operatives on site.
Hambling operate across a wide area surrounding our Accrington, East Lancashire base, with current contracts as far apart as the Fylde Coast, Manchester and Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
The company has a proven track record in understanding and meeting the particular requirements of public and private sector clients and prides itself on the dedication of a highly skilled workforce and compliance with the highest standards of quality, health and safety and best practice within the industry.

The foundations of the company lie in Bespoke Joinery. We operate a Workshop, which forms the manufacturing foundation for all site joinery requirements and produces a range of products including windows and casings, reception and security counters and high-class architectural joinery. As the company has expanded, we have developed the range of services we offer beyond joinery to a full contracting service to the industrial, commercial and public sectors.
We have a comprehensive training and development programme, which has allowed us to develop a skilled and loyal workforce and has seen us win numerous awards in recent years.
The company takes its commitment to health and safety and quality very seriously and is a member of a number of regulatory bodies, including Constructionline, CHAS, Investors in People, FENSA and the Pennine Lancashire Construction training Group.
