Congratulations Martin
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Martin Turner who successfully graduated in July 2011 from The University of Bolton achieving his BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.
Martin started with the company in 2006 as a trainee Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager after completing his National Diploma in Construction at Blackburn College. Over his first two years within the company he undertook extensive training and gained valuable building knowledge with our Senior Contracts Manager, whilst studying for his Higher National Certificate in construction again at Blackburn College which Martin gained in July 2008.
Further to a position opening within the company requiring a Quantity Surveyor, Martin excelled and progressed to this position following hard work and desire to progress, whilst deciding to undertake a 3 year degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, which he gained in July 2011. This shows that Martin has worked very hard and proved to have the ability to progress to fulfil his current role of Quantity Surveyor, this qualification only reinforces his skills base.
This does not only show our commitment to staff onsite but also within the management team, continually training young trainees from the local area.
